Indigo Ridge in Cedar Park – What makes it unique?

Indigo Ridge is headlining the Cedar Park news these days. Its 155-acre sprawl of retail, residential, and athletic facilities is to be built on the vacant land at the intersection of Whitestone Boulevard and CR 175. Since 2002, retailers have been successfully making their way to the city with businesses such as Wal-Mart, Super Target, HEB grocery stores, and Academy Sports and Outdoors opening throughout the area. So what makes Indigo Ridge so exciting and unique? Let’s take a detailed look at the mega, mixed-use development that is expected to break ground in 2019.

First of all, why Cedar Park?

Developers have taken note of the Austin suburb’s fast growth. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s report, Cedar Park grew by 4.2% from 2016 – 2017  making it the 13th fastest growing city in the country.

With Cedar Park’s rapid rate of growth, Indigo Ridge is a perfect fit to provide the area with additional housing and a place to shop, dine, and find a variety of entertainment. The masterplan shows the thoughtful design for a harmonized community:
