Temperatures are increasing, the bluebonnets came early, and we’re officially ready for Spring! We’re sure you already have your own Easter traditions, but we wanted to put together a list of some of the best Easter events happening in or around Austin!
Grab the family and head out to these fun-filled Easter events!
Easter Egg Hunt at Sweet Eats Farm – Georgetown
March 16th & 17th, 23rd & 24th, 29th-31st
Sweet Eats Farm will host Easter Egg Hunts for three weekends in March from 10am to 5pm, with a “Quiet Hunt” for children with special needs at 9:30am. Parents, don’t worry—they also have adult egg hunts on March 23rd and 30th, starting at 7pm!
The Easter Bunny will be available for photos, and there is the option to have brunch with The Bunny at an additional charge. Also included in your general admission ticket are apple cannons, a giant 40 lb candy cannon, a mini bunny farm petting zoo, wagon rides, face painting, and more!
Easter Egg Festival – Austin
March 23rd | 9:30am-11am
First Church is hosting its annual Easter Egg Festival at West Capitol Lawn. This free event is open to the public and will include egg hunts for infants and preschoolers and egg races for elementary ages.
In addition to the egg events, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance, and there will be other fun activities such as face painting and games.
We Love Our City Egg Hunt – Cedar Park
March 23rd | 10am
The We Love Our City Egg Hunt will be hosted by City Reach Church on March 23rd at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Including over 60,000 eggs, a helicopter egg drop, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and more, this will be an “egg”cellent event you won’t want to miss!
Flashlight Egg Hunt – Round Rock
March 28th | 6pm-9pm
The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual Flashlight Egg Hunt at Old Settlers Park. This event has multiple time slots for children of all ages to participate and get eggs, candy, and prizes. There will also be a movie night in the park after the hunt!
